Guy Flanagan ... John Mitchell (Vampire)
Russel Tovey ... George Sands (Werwolf)
Andrea Riseborough ... Annie (Ghost)
What I liked:the theme of the show (what does it mean to be human, what's normal?): George's love for gardening, Mitchell's fear of being called "dangerous", Annie's ritual of making tea, the hilarious scene when the estate agent assumes George and Mitchell are gay (in this show: gay = normal)
the interaction between Annie, George and Mitchell (their living together doesn't look like the set up for "romance" but genuine friendship)
naked!George (he is more naked than not, but where is naked!Mitchell? On the other hand Mitchell is kinda scrawny so it might be better not to see him naked)
What I didn't like: the music (Amy Winehouse? Snow Patrol? It sounded like someone turned on the radio while shooting - very uninspired choices),
the abusive fiancée (Peter) of George's ex-girlfriend Julia (is grabbing her throat normal too? Or making excuses for his behaviour?)
the ex-girlfriend (because locking in yourself and your ex-boyfriend so you have to talk about the relationship is such a clever idea under normal circumstances *rolls eyes*)
the evil, power-hungry black vampire (stereotypical casting imo)
Questions: Why couldn't George change in the woods like he did the first time(s) around? Why looking for a saver spot? Is he getting more dangerous?
What is going to happen to the evil Vampire corporation? Is Annie going to "finish her journey"?
Quote:Annie: Does anyone ever 'choose' Slytherin?
George Sands: No, because that would be like saying
I bartend. In the dark. 'I'm a sociopath.'
