Word! I twitch every time I see a work in progress, even 'knowing' that the writer in question will finish it. I want my instant gratification now!

I'm following 8 (!) wip right now. And with some of them the waiting is bearable but other are fairly short (comment fics) and I want to read the whole thing now. What have I gotten into? (I always told myself that I don't read wip but that was apparently sheer luck.)

So you bookmark and wait for the work to be finished first?

I follow two authors constantly since they both have several works in progresses out right now and, urgh, as much as I want to wait until they're finished with a fic, I can't. So I read. Then I feel dirty because I just read a WiP when I should know better. *facepalm*
