Letzte Gelegenheit um noch Prompts beim ficathon_de abzugeben. Die Frist wurde auf heute Nacht verlängert und die Anzahl der abzugebenden Prompts auf 5 erhöht.

Eine neue Runde wurde bei ficathon_de eingeläutet. Diesmal gilt es, bei den Prompts nicht einfach Schlagwörter anzugeben, sondern eine Ideen für ganze Romane vorzugeben. Die Schreiber dürfen sich dann eine Szene rauspicken.

Es sieht so aus, als würde ficathon_de wohl bei LJ bleiben, aber Prompts dürfen auch auf DW abgegeben werden. Diejenigen, die DW bevorzugt hätten, sollten das auch tun.

Ich habe mir die Prompts, die bis jetzt abgegeben wurden, angesehen. Manche Ideen (lesbisches Piratenschiff FTW) sind echt toll, aber viele sind leider für Fandoms, in denen ich mich nicht auskenne. Ich könnte zum Beispiel was für Winnetou schreiben, weil ich so ungefähr weiß, worum es geht, aber ich habe nicht mal die Filme gesehen.
Vielleicht Star Trek. Den neuen Film habe ich gesehen, Teile der alten Serie ebenso. Ich schätze, dieses Mal wird es schwierig.

Warum nicht als Antwortkommentar auf mein comment? Ich weiß zumindest warum ich diese Antwort bekommen habe. Dieses Fandom ist bei 4chan verwurzelt.

I just learned a new word: procrastination. I always thought I understood that word. I thought it said "spamming my flist (but in a meaningful way)" because whenever someone said he/she was procrastinating, they posted fic or meta or polls or cake recipes.

But what they actually said, was that they postponed something else by writing porn, fanfic, meta etc. Can you believe that?

I feel cheated (by the English language). No-one told me. I thought I got it from the context of the posts but I was still miles off.

Ich richte mich hier noch einmal an den deutschsprachigen Teil meiner Flist. Das Fic-Wünscheerfüllen auf ficathon_de geht noch bis zum 21.12. Es gibt nur noch einige wenige Wunschpakete, die noch gar nicht bearbeitet wurden, aber es gibt jede Menge Pakete, die schon mehrere Antworten haben.
Wie sieht das denn aus, wenn manche vier Geschenke kriegen und andere gar keins? Also, liebe Flist, setzt euch hin und schreibt!

Es ist kalt und ich sitze hier mit Strickjacke und Rollkragenpulli, aber ich werde eisern bleiben und frühestens im Oktober den Heizkörper aufdrehen.

Liebt ihr das nicht auch, wenn man konstruktive Kritik übt und die Antwort "ich tue das nur für mich selbst" kommt? Bonuspunkte, wenn sich dann auch noch "Freunde" des/der Kritisierten einmischen. Liegt aber vielleicht auch an mir.

Wenn da steht "Please comment. I'm curious about which icons you take and why you liked them.", dann heißt es wahrscheinlich wirklich, dass man nur sagen darf, was gefällt und nicht, was nicht. Mein Fehler...

Ich habe am 18.8. damit angefangen, eine deutsche Chronik des Strikethrough zu schreiben und es sieht so aus, als wäre sie jetzt fast fertig. Ich habe versucht, mich kurz zu fassen und sie ist trotzdem viel zu tl;dr geworden (circa 14 Seiten) und ich habe mich bemüht, alle meine Aussagen mit Quellen zu belegen (wer mal ein paar Stunden Zeit totschlagen will, kann gerne alle Links anklicken *muahahaha*).

Ich denke, ich werde sie in der deutschen Fandom Community veröffentlichen, die so langsam Gestalt annimmt und hoffentlich bald eröffnet werden kann. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt und hoffe, dass es viele interessante Diskussionen über den Strikethrough geben wird.

Im Endeffekt wird die Chronik wohl nie richtig fertig werden, da 6A neue (kursive?) Häschen aus dem Hut zaubern kann und ich immer noch interessante Texte verlinken will und ich sicher tausend wichtige Sachen vergessen und übersehen habe.

Meine Beweggründe? Übersicht; die Hoffnung, Ordnung ins Chaos zu bringen und anderen dabei behilflich zu sein, insbesondere was die timeline angeht. Und natürlich etwas Deutsches zu schreiben, wobei ich mir darüber im Klaren bin, dass fast alle Links auf englische Seiten verweisen und viele im Strikethrough angesprochene Themen eben nicht auf Deutschland und die deutsche Rechtslage gemünzt ist. Trotzdem sollte es uns alle angehen.

Kaufen, was einem die Kartelle vorwerfen; lesen, was einem die Zensoren erlauben; glauben, was einem die Kirche und Partei gebieten. Beinkleider werden zur Zeit mittelweit getragen. Freiheit gar nicht.
